Clinical & Experimental Allergy caters to clinicians and scientists working in all fields in which allergic sensitivity plays a part. As well as original articles, the journal carries regular reviews and editorials written by leading authorities in their field. Emphasis is placed on work which enables clinicians to apply immunological methods and procedures to investigation and treatment.
The journal’s readership consists of practising clinicians (including pulmonary specialists, paediatricians, dermatologists and gastro-enterologists), as well as researchers in hospitals and commercial laboratories and in the pharmaceutical industry. Clinical & Experimental Allergy is essential reading for allergy practitioners and research scientists with an interest in allergic diseases and mechanisms.
In determining content, the primary considerations are excellence, relevance and novelty. While Clinical & Experimental Allergy reflects the broad scientific and clinical interests of the BSACI membership, the editorial team, led by Professor Graham Roberts, ensures that the journal’s ethos, authorship, content and purpose are those expected of a leading international publication.
