Message from BSACI regarding timing of 2024 Conference    

BSACI sincerely regrets that some members will not be attending the Society’s conference this year due to the dates coinciding with the Jewish festival of Rosh Hashana. BSACI’s mission is to promote allergy care in the UK by supporting all those invested in the care of allergy suffers. Inclusivity is key to meeting this mission and to enabling access to the Society‘s key annual conference.  A lot of work goes into the selection of the conference dates and venue. However, the dates are constrained by multiple factors, including conference centre availability, affordability and by the timings of statutory UK public holidays. We will task our EDI committee to review this issue, with input from members of the faith groups, to ensure that we are doing all we can to minimise any future impact of conference scheduling on our communities.
