EACCME® accredited Annual Conference a huge success

SAVE THE DATE: 16-18 October, 2025, ICC Wales

On 2nd-5th October, we welcomed almost 800 delegates to our Annual Conference “The Power of Data, the Power of People”.

The conference was a great opportunity to make new connections and network with colleagues whilst keeping up-to-date with the latest in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.

We celebrated excellence in allergy care and research – congratulations to Alexandra Santos who delivered the Harry Morrow Brown Lecture; the Barry Kay Awardees, and Peter Arkwright who was chosen by the BSACI membership for the 2024 William Frankland Award. The Tony Frew Award was awarded to John Joyce for ‘Delivering Great Education in Allergy’ and Judith Holloway gave the ‘Tony Frew Excellence in Allergy Education Lecture’. BSACI 2024 Honorary Member was awarded to Bryan Martin current President of WAO. Congratulations also to Adam Fox who has been awarded the BSACI Fellows Award, this award recognises BSACI members who have made significant contributions to the society in providing a continuously active role for 20 years or more, helping to shape the society and UK allergy & clinical immunology as a specialty within the UK.

BSACI again supported delegates through the Abstract Award Scheme with travel, registration and accommodation costs for the conference. We were delighted to award 17 Abstract Awards this year as well as 13 Medical Scholarships.

The conference was interspersed with industry symposiums, thank you to all our industry partners and exhibitors for their support this year.  The social events ‘Welcome Reception’ and ‘Gala Dinner’, were well attended and provided a great opportunity to make new connections and network. Well done to those who took part in the ‘5K Fun Run’, and thank you to DBV for sponsoring the run t-shirts.

Thank you to the expert speakers, industry partners, committees, BSACI team, Medivents (our professional conference team), charities, attendees and all those who contributed to making the conference a success. Click here to see the photos.

Please also ensure you give us your feedback as this will help inform next year’s conference. Certificates of attendance for CME will be emailed to delegates over the next two weeks.

Next year’s conference will take place on Thursday 16th-Saturday 18th October at the ICC, Wales so please save the date.
